History

Rumori’s first match was on 22 August 2014. FC Liikur won 10–⁠1, and Giorgi Balakhadze, from Georgia, scored Rumori’s goal.

Five days later Rumori played FC IceBears in heavy rain. Archil Chochia scored after six minutes, the game went to extra time, and Mustafa Celik got the winner. It was the first win.

On 17 March 2015 the players met at Hiiu Pub and founded MTÜ Rumori Calcio JK. It was entered in the register of non-profit associations on 15 May.

On 28 June Rumori played its first eleven-a-side match, a cup tie away to JK Poseidon in Pärnu. Poseidon won 3–⁠2, and Richard Barnwell, from England, scored both Rumori goals.

On 22 August, one year after the first match, UCL Academicals came from London for the first Rumori Cup. They won 6–⁠0.

The first league match was on 10 April at the Kalev Stadium artificial pitch, against JK Jalgpallihaigla. Mart Naris equalised in the 84th minute.

Rumori did not win any of its first seven league games. Then it won eight in a row, from June to September, one of them by forfeit, and finished third. That was promotion to III liiga.

In the Estonian Cup Rumori beat Tartu FC Merkuur on penalties and JK Kernu Kadakas 4–⁠3. Tartu JK Tammeka of the Premium Liiga won the last-16 tie 5–⁠1.

The first III liiga season began with three defeats. From May to July Rumori won five in a row, and in the autumn it beat Kristiine JK 8–⁠0 and Tallinna KSK FC Štrommi 9–⁠0.

In the Estonian Cup the team reached the last 16 for the second year running. FC Kuressaare won that tie 6–⁠0.

Rumori finished sixth for the second season, with a run of seven league games unbeaten between May and August.

In the cup it beat Raplamaa JK 3–⁠0. The next round brought JK Tallinna Kalev, the oldest club in Estonia, who won 8–⁠1.

In January 2019 our teammate Kareemy died. Before the first match of the season the club retired his number, 17. No Rumori player will wear it again.

The season began with four defeats. The fifth game was a 10–⁠1 win over Tallinna KSK FC Štrommi. Rumori finished eighth and ended the season with a 6–⁠0 win over Tallinna JK Dünamo.

The season started late because of Covid. Rumori won three of 22 games, finished eleventh and went down to IV liiga.

It was also the first league season of Rumori Calcio II Tallinn. The new team won at the seventh attempt, 4–⁠2 against Pärnu JK Poseidon II, and beat Põlva FC Lootos 3–⁠0 in the Estonian Cup.

Rumori Calcio Tallinn finished third in IV liiga North and went back up to III liiga at the first attempt.

On 3 October the two Rumori teams played each other in a league match for the first time. Rumori Calcio II Tallinn won 2–⁠0.

Back in III liiga, now in the West group, Rumori won its first four games. On 5 June it beat Tallinna JK Jalgpallihaigla 18–⁠1, the team it had drawn with in its first league match. It is still the club’s biggest win.

In the cup JK Tallinna Kalev were the opponents again, and won 8–⁠0.

Rumori Calcio Tallinn finished fifth. In the cup it won 4–⁠2 away to Põhja-Tallinna JK Volta before Tallinna FC Zenit won 8–⁠3.

Rumori Calcio II Tallinn won two league games all year, the first in April and the second on the last day, 2–⁠1 against Tallinna FC Reaal.

Rumori Calcio Tallinn won its first four league games, lost four in a row after the summer break and finished seventh.

Rumori Calcio II Tallinn won four in a row in August and finished with 23 points, more than three times its total of the year before.

In III liiga North Rumori Calcio Tallinn won five league games in a row in April and May and finished fourth.

Rumori Calcio II Tallinn lost six in a row in the spring. It lost only one of its last eight games.

Rumori Calcio Tallinn did not lose a league game. It won 17 and drew 5 of its 22 games in III liiga North/West, scored 71 and conceded 18, and won the title. In 2027 it plays in II liiga B, the highest level in the club’s history.

In the cup the draw brought back Tartu JK Tammeka, who ended the 2016 run. Tammeka won 1–⁠0.

Rumori Calcio II Tallinn finished fifth in IV liiga North/East with 32 points, its highest total.
